The Brazilian star Extends Apology to The Madrid Club Devotees

Vinicius Jr in action

The forward has netted five finishes in 10 La Liga matches this season.

Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Jr has said sorry to the fanbase for his response when replaced in the recent intense Clasico clash win.

Vinicius was substituted in the 72nd minute and displayed his disappointment by going straight down the tunnel.

Vinicius later returned to the bench and, after his team's 2-1 victory, attempted to approach Barça's youngster Yamal during contentious post-match scenes.

"Today I want to say sorry to all the supporters for my behavior when I was substituted in the big match," he wrote on his account.

"In the same way as I have previously expressed during this morning's session, I would like to apologise again to my colleagues, the club, and the leadership.

"At times fervor gets the better of me because I continuously aim to succeed and assist my team. My determined nature comes from the love I have for this club and everything it stands for."

The player signed for Madrid from Flamengo in recent years for millions and has notched over a century of strikes in more than 300 games.

But his prospects in the La Liga is uncertain with rumors in the past few months suggesting that Los Blancos would contemplate allowing the player leave if they got a suitable offer.

When the winger was taken off on the match day, cameras from coverage provider the service captured him stating: "Again me! I'm leaving the team! It's preferable if I depart, I'm going."

In his new message on the platform, the athlete commented: "I vow to keep fighting at all times for the benefit of the club, as I have performed since the first day."
